The picturesque Dziki Wodospad (Wild Waterfall) is not a work of nature, but of human hands. It is the result of an anti-rubble dam built on the unpredictable and dangerous Łomnica River. It is the nature of this river that lent its name to the waterfall.
Dziki Wodospad is a year-round tourist attraction – surrounded by greenery. In the summer and hot weather, it becomes a refreshing enclave, while in winter it delights with its unusual shapes “painted” with frost and beautiful ice formations. However, this beautiful place in Karpacz is first and foremost a dam, which has repeatedly proven its effectiveness as flood protection.
